Meet Your Teacher: Kimberly Bell

If you are looking for a teacher with passion, enthusiasm and expertise, you have come to the right place. My name is Kimberly Bell, and I believe children should love learning, beyond a classroom setting. There is a world of opportunity, and I want to be your liaison.

I earned a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education and later, a Masters in Educational Administration, from Alabama State University. I have learned that a little faith goes a long way, and I make sure I have faith in each of my students.

I taught as a public school educator for 15 years. I have experienced working with students and families in both rural and urban areas in Alabama, and it did not take long for me to figure out that most students and families want to feel accepted, respected, and loved. I also learned that creating fun and engaging lessons helps students want to engage in the learning process. In my 15 years of teaching, I have earned multiple awards and grants to help support my students, my schools, and my own professional development. I have attended and facilitated numerous training sessions about STEM/STEAM, Computer Coding, and technology.

The world is advancing and the way we teach should be advancing as well; which is why in 2019, I started EdTech Academy, LLC. I wanted to create a space dedicated to providing schools, parents, and organizations with up-to-date, on-demand, standards based curriculum using the latest STEM research, technology, and tools. I want to teach others, that a little STEAM goes a long way.
